Soil-related main natural spaces in Schleswig-Holstein (borders)
Description
The map contains the grenlines of the four main natural areas of the country on the basis of soil-geological criteria. The age of the near-surface deposits and the relief form the basis for this. The map has been developed from geological and soil survey maps and from data on the relief. It forms the basis for the regionalisation of the soil assessment maps for Schleswig-Holstein. For the regional soil assessment maps, the classes (usually percentiles) were determined specifically for each main natural space.
