WMS Deutschlandatlas inpatient care
Description
Display service for the dataset from www.deutschlandatlas.bund.de: Percentage of patients in inpatient care in 2019. Inpatient care is required if care by relatives or care services is not or is no longer possible in your own home. According to official nursing statistics, there are approximately 16,000 inpatient care homes with 1,000,000 available care places in Germany in 2019. Out of 4.1 million people in need of care in Germany, a total of 860,000 people will be cared for in care homes in 2019.
