Description
This publication contains figures on the number of companies and the
employment, operating income data and
operating expenses in the Social Workplace (SBI code 36631 – Standard
Company classification 1993).
The purpose of social work is to provide a suitable and full-fledged job
to offer to people who have poor chances due to illness or lack of
the labour market.

Status of the figures: annual figures up to 2005 are final
Frequency: discontinued
When will there be new figures?
The update with new annual figures usually takes place one and a half
year after the end of a calendar year.
Changes to the previous version:
The figures for the reporting years 2003 to 2005 are corrected.
Reason for correction:
Due to a technical error, the Costs column or
training unduly published a zero for the 2003 reporting years
up to 2005. These figures have now been corrected.
Other personnel costs are also due to this correction.

The main reason for this is the availability of new
information about a limited number of companies.
The effect of the correction is greatest for turnover variables.
As an indication: Net revenue differs 3 percent from the previously published
data. For Total Operating Revenues and Total Operating Expenditures
the deviation is limited to 1 %. Number of employees
on their own payroll, only 0.5 percent deviates from the previous one.
