Description

This table provides information on turnover trends in companies with 10 or more active persons in the mineral extraction industry. The data can be divided by turnover at home and abroad and to a number of branches according to the 2008 Standard Business Classification of CBS. The results are expressed in indices based on the year 2005. Developments in relation to the same period of the previous year have also been indicated. Data available: 2000 to 2013 When are new figures coming? This table was discontinued on 22 March 2013. The statistical examination which forms the basis of the results in this table has undergone a significant change from the date of publication of the first reporting period of 2013: In 2013, from reference year 2005 to 2010 (2010 = 100), the weighting factors were updated and based on the year 2010. When calculating indices, the weighting factors reflect the proportion with which the underlying outcomes count in a publication group. Because of these changes, CBS has released a new table, Industry (excluding construction); production, turnover, orders, index 2010=100. For more information, see paragraphs 3 and 4. Status of the figures After discontinuation of this table, the figures are no longer adjusted, which is why the figures for the last three months remain provisional. The remaining periods are final.
