Description
Indices (2000=100) turnover, orders and production in the
industry (excluding construction) and production development by
industry.
Data available from: January 1995
Frequency: stop it.
Changes to the previous version
This table does not go beyond results for the month of December
{whether the fourth quarter or the last four-weekly period of} 2008. The
statistical research that forms the basis of the results in this table
as of January {whether the first quarter or the first
four-weekly period of 2009 two major changes
underwent.
First, the basis has been shifted from the year 2000 to 2005.
Second, CBS’s Standard Business Classification (SBI) is drastic
revisited. Until 2009, the SBI'93 was used, which was established in 1993. In
2008 has been a major overhaul of the international
classifications ISIC and NACE and hence of the SBI based on it.
This makes these classifications more consistent with the business activities of
this time.
The above means that the SBI codes of the SBI'93 and SBI 2008
it’s different. An SBI code from the 2008 version gives a different activity
the same SBI code from the 1993 version. The composition can also be
have changed from an activity group such as an industry or industry.
For the above reasons, CBS has started a new table from the
January 2009, see paragraph 3. In addition, all
publication series for the period 2000-2008 converted into the breakdown of
SBI 2008 and included in the new table.
Correction as of 11-12-2008:
To describe the Dutch economy so pure
it is possible to keep the results of the turnover survey
adjusted for the period January 2006 — September 2008.
These are largely corrections in declarations of companies
in the petroleum industry. There were unjustified compensations here.
for wage services declared instead of industrial turnover.
These adjustments result in turnover developments
from 2005 to 2006 are not real. The developments of 2006 on
2007 and the developments from 2007 to 2008 are real.
