Description
This table provides information on the development of industrial production (excluding construction). The industry consists of mining, industry and public utility. The trend is reflected by indices (base year 2005) and as percentage changes compared to the same period the year before.
The data is divided into branches according to the Standard Business Classification (SBI) 2008.
Data available: from January 1953 to December 2011.

The statistical examination which forms the basis of the results in this table has undergone a significant change from the date of publication of the first reporting period of 2013:
In 2013, from reference year 2005 to 2010 (2010 = 100), the weighting factors were updated and based on the year 2010. When calculating indices, the weighting factors reflect the proportion with which the underlying outcomes count in a publication group. Because of these changes, CBS has released a new table.
