Description

This table provides information on the evolution of the turnover of the passenger car importers (SBI 45111). This development is displayed using indices (based on the year 2005) and percentage change compared to the same period of the year before that. Data available from: January 1995. Status of the figures: The figures for the three most recent months are provisional, the remaining final. Changes as of 20 March 2013: This table was discontinued on 20 March 2013 and continued as "Personal Car Importers; turnover development, index 2010 = 100’. See also paragraph 3. Changes as of 26 August 2011: Based on further analysis, CBS has adjusted the turnover figures of the SBI 45111 Import of new passenger cars. The update covers the months of January and February 2011. The reason for the adjustment is the implementation of new information from reporters following further analysis. The revision of the results of this industry also affects the outcomes of other groups of companies, namely the total car industry (SBI 45) and the aggregate Autohandel and Repair (SBI 451). When are new figures coming? This table was discontinued on 20 March 2013. The statistical examination which forms the basis of the results in this table has undergone a significant change from the date of publication of the first reporting period of 2013: In 2013, from reference year 2005 to 2010 (2010 = 100), the weighting factors were updated and based on the year 2010. When calculating indices, the weighting factors reflect the proportion with which the underlying outcomes count in a publication group. Because of these changes, CBS has released a new table.
