Hospitality; turnover development, 1993-2012
Description
This table provides information on the evolution of the turnover of the
hospitality (SBI 2008 codes 55 and 56). The evolution is reflected using indices (based on 2005) and as a percentage change from the same period of the previous year.
Data available from: January/1st quarter 1993 to December/4th quarter 2012
Status of the figures:
The figures for the four most recent months and the two most recent
quarters are provisional, the rest are final. As the table has been discontinued, the provisional data are no longer definitive.
Changes as of 28 June 2013:
This table ceased on 28 June 2013 and continued as ‘Horeca’; turnover development index 2010 = 100’. See also paragraph 3.
When are new figures coming?
This table has stopped. The statistical examination which forms the basis of the results in this table has undergone a significant change from the date of publication of the first reporting period of 2013: In 2013, from reference year 2005 to 2010 (2010 = 100), the weighting factors were updated and based on the year 2010. When calculating indices, the weighting factors reflect the proportion with which the underlying outcomes count in a publication group. Because of these changes, CBS has released a new table. For more information, see paragraphs 3 and 4.
