Warning map of the probability of occurrence of landslides and mountaineering landslides

Description

The 1:25 000 scale landslide and mountaineering probability warning map is a spatial dataset containing representations of the probability of occurrence of three main types of slope movements – landslides, rockfalls and debris flows. The 1:25 000 scale map is produced and gradually supplemented by the Geological Survey of Slovenia. The 1:25,000 scale warning map shows the probability of landslides, rockfalls and debris flows occurring. Only the source areas of the phenomena are shown. The probability of occurrence on the map is divided into 6 levels from negligible to very high. The map is intended for use in the process of preparing spatial plans (DPN, OPN, OPPN) and in the process of issuing project conditions, water consent and opinion. The collection consists of several layers: Warning map of the probability of occurrence of landslides and mountaineering landslides COMMON – GeoZS 1:25,000. The TOTAL – GeoZS 1:25,000 landslide probability warning map contains a combined representation of the probability of occurrence of all three main types of slope movements – landslides, rockfalls and debris flows. It is based on the selection of the highest probability level at each location among the probabilities shown on the three warning maps (earthslides, rockfalls and debris flows). The warning map shall show exclusively the source areas of occurrence. Areas of displacement and deposition of earth masses may be far away (in the case of debris flows or rockfalls, even several km) from the areas of origin. The card is intended for use on a scale of 1:25,000. Landslide probability warning map - GeoZS 1:25,000. Landslide probability warning map – GeoZS 1:25,000 shows the probability of landslides occurring. The data of this map are combined with the data of the Warning map of the probability of occurrence of rockfalls - GeoZS 1:25,000 and the Warning map of the probability of occurrence of debris currents - GeoZS 1:25,000 into the Warning map of the probability of occurrence of landslides and mountain avalanches COMMON - GeoZS 1:25,000. The warning map shows only the source areas of landslides. Areas of movement and deposition of earth masses may be far away from the areas of origin. The card is intended for use on a scale of 1:25,000. Warning map of the probability of occurrence of rockfalls - GeoZS 1:25,000. The warning map of the probability of rockfall occurrence – GeoZS 1:25,000 shows the probability of rockfall formation. The data from this map are combined with the data from the Landslide Probability Warning Map – GeoZS 1:25,000 and the Debris Flow Probability Warning Map – GeoZS 1:25,000 into the TOTAL Landslide and Hillslide Probability Warning Map – GeoZS 1:25,000. The warning map shows only the source areas of rockfalls. Areas of displacement and deposition of earth masses can be far away (in the case of rockfalls, even several km) from the areas of origin. The card is intended for use on a scale of 1:25,000. Warning map of the probability of the occurrence of debris flows - GeoZS 1:25,000. The warning map of the probability of the occurrence of debris flows – GeoZS 1:25,000 shows the probability of the formation of debris flows. The data from this map are combined with the data from the Landslide Probability Warning Map – GeoZS 1:25,000 and the Rockfall Probability Warning Map – GeoZS 1:25,000 into the TOTAL Landslide and Hillslide Probability Warning Map – GeoZS 1:25,000. The warning map shall show exclusively the source areas of occurrence of debris streams. Areas of movement and deposition of earth masses may be far away (more km in the case of debris flows) from the areas of origin. The card is intended for use on a scale of 1:25,000. The layer with the year of production of warning maps and links to reports contains additional information on the TOTAL warning map of the probability of occurrence of landslides and mountaineering landslides - GeoZS 1:25,000, warning maps of the probability of occurrence of landslides - GeoZS 1:25,000, warning maps of the probability of occurrence of rockfalls - GeoZS 1:25,000 and warning maps of the probability of occurrence of debris currents - GeoZS 1:25,000. The layer was made at DRSV in 2024. Field-checked landslides and mountain avalanches - GeoZS. Field-checked landslides and mountain avalanches - GeoZS was created at the time of drawing up the Warning map of the probability of landslides and mountain avalanches COMMON - GeoZS 1:25,000. The layer does not contain all landslides, but only those whose location was recorded by GeoZS at the time of creating each Warning Map. GeoZS gradually carried out field checks of landslides in the areas of individual municipalities on the orders of the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning and later the DRSV from 2012 onwards (also within the framework of the SLO4D project, which is partly financed by the European Union). The data on the year of verification and the data on verified landslides and mountain avalanches are part of the stratum.
