Floods — Water depth HQExtrem
Description
The map service (WMS group) represents the data of the flood hazard map and the flood risk map of the Saarland waters.:The HQ Extrem flood hazard map represents the extent of flooding (flooding areas and water depth) in events that can occur in statistical means much less than every 100 years, i.e. a low probability flood scenario. The water depth is shown in the hazard maps in five stages with different shades of blue. The same steps in yellow shades characterise areas behind flood protection systems. This should be made aware of the residual risk behind dams and dikes. Attributes: CLASS: Depth class (1-5, in protected areas 10-15) TIEFE: Depth class (text description) Gewaesser: Water name GEWKZ: Water code according to LAWA; Scale limitation: Min is omitted, Max 1:3000.
