Description
This table provides information on retail turnover (SBI 2008 section 47). The turnover can be broken down by value, price and volume. The data can be further subdivided into a number of branches according to CBS’s 2008 Standard Business Classification (SBI). The development is represented by indices and as a percentage change from the same period in the preceding year. Some industries lack (temporary) value and/or price and volume data, as the information is deemed to be insufficiently reliable.

This table will be discontinued as a result of the five-yearly basic shift as of 15 June 2018 and will be followed up by a new table. For more information on the basic shift, see paragraph 3.
