DATASET Habitats of Community Interest 2022 Balearic Islands
Description
The Habitats of Community Interest 2022 Balearic Islands service provides information on the distribution, coverage, and other attributes of the mapped plant communities (syntaxons) and, indirectly, by correspondence, of the types of Habitats of Community Interest (Habitats Directive) and the types of habitats from the Master List of Terrestrial Habitats present in Spain. The service contains several layers, the first, called General Map Habitats of Community Interest 2022 Balearic Islands contains a polygonal overlay, tiles with information on the presence of a certain habitat. The second layer Majority Community Interest Habitat 2022 Balearic Islands, shows a continuum of non-overlapping tiles with information on the habitat with the most presence or majority. Finally, there is a grouping of layers, Layers by habitat, where each layer corresponds to the percentage distribution by tiles of each habitat. The spatial data covers the territory of the Balearic Islands covered by the types of natural and semi-natural habitats. Artificial and agricultural surfaces that have been identified a priori through SIOSE 2014 are excluded.
