GLM9 ban on ploughing and conversion
Description
The card is a digital map showing polygons covered by the Good Agricultural and Environmental Condition (GAEC) requirement 9. GAEC 9 provides for a ploughing and conversion ban on permanent grassland situated within habitat habitat types. The card is used when administering the GAEC 9 requirement. The polygons are formed from data on land with permanent grass located within the map theme ‘Light-open habitats (2016-2019)’ under ‘Høring2022 – terrestrial nature’ in the Environmental GIS. All permanent grassland overlapping with the light-open habitat type map is covered by GAEC 9 and appears on the map. The map is updated once a year. The number of hectares covered by GAEC 9 will increase when new permanent grasslands occur within light-open habitats.
