Description
Seasonal average of NDVI calculated from NOAA satellite images captured by the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) sensor. The AVHRR sensor collects information in 5 spectral bands: visible, near-infrared and 3 in thermal infrared, all with a resolution of 1000 m. The seasonal average of NDVI 2007 is calculated from the monthly averages, grouping December 2006, January and February 2007 in winter; March, April and May 2007 in spring; June, July and August 2007 in summer; September, October and November 2007 in autumn.
