Asylum requests and following relatives; nationality, gender and age
Description
This table provides data on the number of asylum applications lodged and following family members (followers) per month, quarter and year, broken down by nationality, sex and age group of the asylum seeker and the following family member. In addition to the total number of requests, the numbers of first and subsequent requests are also included. As of 2016, the first requests include relocation. Figures are available from January 2013. The figures shown are for asylum seekers who have been formally identified and registered.
Status of figures:
The figures up to 2023 are final.
Figures from 2024 onwards are provisional.
Changes as of June 2024:
The provisional figures for May 2024 have been added and the figures for 2023 have been finalised.
When will there be new figures?
The latest figures are published every month.
