Description

Land parcel register The Land Parcel Register is an annual dataset containing the base parcels included in the annual aid application. A base parcel means a geographically homogeneous agricultural area cultivated by an individual applicant (excluding shared-use parcels) and owned or controlled by him or her, which is bounded by a municipal boundary, a boundary of ownership, a boundary of a support or contract area, a water body, a district or main road, a road, a forest or another similar boundary. The geographically, eligiblely and land-useally homogeneous area owned by the applicant is one base parcel, even if it consists of several separate register spaces owned by the applicant. The objective of the definition of high-value datasets (EU) 2023/138 has been to ensure the re-use of public data with the highest societal potential. The Finnish Food Authority is touched by the theme of geospatial data: Reference parcels and agricultural parcels Starting from the data for 2023, the Finnish Food Authority will add the following characteristics to the published datasets: Land parcel register - Organic production - Slope, ha (Slope areas on the base parcel, slope over 15 % in mainland Finland and over 10 % in Åland) - Groundwater sector, ha - Natura area, ha - Lane protection requirement (metres), m The following new fields are included in the dataset: CREATION SYSTEM: 1=yes or 0=no KALTEVA_ALA: Sloping areas on the base parcel.
