Description
This table provides information on the loss and profit account, balance sheet, investments and staffing of groups of companies whose main activity is hospital care, mental health care, disability care, nursing home care, home care, social care and women’s care and youth care. This concerns only publicly-financed corporate groups. The enterprise groups are classified by main economic activity in accordance with the Standard Business Classification (SBI) 2008. This is a so-called institutional approach which takes into account all the ancillary activities of the groups of undertakings considered. Year-on-year developments in finance and staff are partly influenced by population changes. Changes in the main activity, creations and removals lead to changes in the population of enterprise groups. Mergers, acquisitions and divisions can also result in changes in the population.
