Description

Contained within the 5th Edition (1978 to 1995) of the National Atlas of Canada is a map that shows the railway network in January 1981: rail lines for each of 30 operators, classed by type and by status (whether line is in use, under construction or abandoned), and also railway ferries and railway tunnels. As well, the map indicates the settled region of Canada.
