Soil Use and Coverage - Whole Region

Polygonal Archive of Soil Use and Coverage for the entire region. Provided in [Spatialite] format (http://www.gaia-gis.it/gaia-sins/), complete with a [Qgis] project (http://qgis.org/en/site/) that implements the necessary dressings. The project also provides access to ortho-images 2007, 2010 and 2013, also in false colours, in [WMS] format (http://www502.regione.toscana.it/geoscopio/servizi/wms/OFC.htm).
Also available the archive for sampling (on time) of the urbanized areas by photointerpretation of the Orthophotos years 1954, 1978, 1988, 1996 and 2007.
The Tuscan Forest Inventory, detection per pixel of 400 meters of side carried out in the years 1985-1993.

Among the layers is also made available the [Use of nineteenth-century soil] (http://www502.regione.toscana.it/geoscopio/usosuolostorico.html), reconstructed on the basis of data and documents acquired at the various State Archives of Tuscany as part of the [Castor Project] (http://www.regione.toscana.it/-/castore-catasti-historici-regionali). In the DataBase Spatialite, and accessible from the Qgis project, statistics on changes in land use and coverage between 2007, 2010 and 2013 are also made available.
