Description
Atlas Art is a design collection based on 3D visualizations of the Austrian digital terrain model and elaborated as fine art print.
The motifs were created in an elaborate production process: It starts with close-meshed terrain data and these raw data form the basis for the following 3D processing. Each point in the grid is assigned a height and this is converted into a geometric object with the help of professional 3D modeling software. A virtual lighting creates a suitable mood and then a photorealistic image is calculated from it - one speaks of a rendering.
The result is impressive: fine scenic details can be recognized and arouse the desire to discover!
