GPS coordinates for geotourist objects in Hamburg

Description

The Geological Office provides the GPS coordinates of 248 geotourist objects, which you can explore on excursions in the terrain. In addition to the well-known geotopes, these include relatively unknown objects such as the Rogen stones on the banks of the Elbe, the Robertshall lignite mine in the Harburg mountains or the boulders that were uncovered during the construction of the Osterbek Canal in 1901/02. Curiosities such as the "rocks" in Hagenbeck Zoo or the "Grotte" in Altona were also not forgotten. The coordinates of the described geo-objects can be downloaded as "waypoint files" for the navigation systems TomTom (TomTom Navigator 5.x and TomTomGO) and Garmin (GarminMetroGuide and Garmin Roads & Recreation). If you use other navigation systems, please download the ASCII file from which you can create corresponding waypoint files with the program NH-Top50Trans.
