Description
The digitised red deer areas reflect the approximate course of the boundaries of the deer areas and serve as an overview. They cannot be used for demarcation on land or hunting grounds level.
The red deer areas in force today stem from the Ordinance of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry on the formation of red deer areas of 28.3.1958 and to the Hunting and Wildlife Management Act (JWMG) of 25.11.2014 § 5(4) and §35 paragraph 8. They can be deported and repealed by ordinance by the highest hunting authority.
