Use of medical facilities; 1981-2009
Description
This table presents the results of the annual health survey on the use of medical facilities. CBS conducts the Health Survey with the aim of providing as complete an overview as possible of developments in the health, medical consumption, lifestyle and preventive behaviour of the Dutch population. This table deals with contact with general practitioner, specialist, dentist, physiotherapist, alternative healers and (children) consultation agency. Also on hospital admissions, medication use and use of the contraceptive pill.
In the table, the data by subject can be broken down into the following attributes:
— gender
— age class
— type of health insurance (until 2006)
