This dataset presents the annual statistics of Swiss cities 2023 – Public finances: Municipal assets and liabilities; Municipal revenue; Municipal expenditure; Municipal revenue, culture, sport and leisure; Municipal expenditure by area of responsibility; Municipal expenditure, culture, sport and leisure; Direct federal tax on natural and legal persons; Tax burden, ledger, one income, without children; Tax burden, married person an income, without children; Tax burden, married person an income, with 2 children; Tax burden, married pensioner; Tax burden (pure assets), married, without children, since 2018. The descriptions (general information, legend, explanations of codes, list of variables, explanations of variables, sources, status of the data) of the variables in the CSV file are available in the appendix.
