This dataset presents the annual statistics of Swiss cities 2023 – Construction and housing: Dwellings, by energy source of heating; Empty apartments, by number of rooms, on 1 June 2022; Living space, occupancy and residential density; Buildings by building category; Apartments, by number of rooms; Dwellings and buildings after construction period; Buildings with residential use according to the number of floors; Annual building access to dwellings, by type of work; Share of relocated persons in the permanent resident population, since 2020. The descriptions (general information, legend, explanations of codes, list of variables, explanations of variables, sources, status of the data) of the variables in the CSV file are available in the appendix.
