Hospitalisations; gender, age and diagnosis classification VTV, 1981-2012
Description
This table contains figures on the number of hospitalisations (clinical admissions and from 1993 also daily admissions and total number of hospital admissions), number of nursing days and average length of nursing of persons residing in the Netherlands.
In the table, the data can be broken down into the following characteristics:
— gender;
— age;
— diagnosis (according to the VTV diagnostic format).

Status of the figures:
All figures are final.
Changes as of 23 January 2019:
— The 2012 figures have been finalised unchanged.
— This table has been discontinued.
When will there be new figures?
None, this table has been discontinued. Due to changes in source registration, new tables on hospital admissions and patients will be available from 2013. For a link to the new tables, see paragraph 3.
