This table provides figures on the forecast of couples and single-parent households in the Netherlands by number of children living at home and age of the reference person. The figures refer to the situation as at 1 January.

The topics have been moved to a selection. This does not affect the figures in the table.
Changes as of 16 December 2021:
None, this is a new table in which the previous forecast has been updated on the basis of the observations that have become available. The forecast horizon now runs from 2022 to 2070.
When will there be new figures?
The frequency of appearance of this table is one-off. The new household forecast table will be published in December 2024.
