Description
Hunting is one of the oldest ways for humans to use natural resources and as such has an influence on animal and plant species as well as on ecosystems. It may also be a potential source of conflict with other forms of use of natural resources (e.g. forestry, agriculture, and recreation). In this context, the issue of the sustainability of hunting arises. Oversimplified approaches often prevent objective views and hamper the settlement of disputes.
