Drug use; age and gender user
Description
These figures come from the annual Health module of the Permanent Research Living Situation (POLS). The CBS conducts this Health Survey with the aim of such a
to give a complete overview of developments in the health, medical consumption, lifestyle and preventive behaviour of the Dutch population. The following types of drugs are requested to persons aged 15 to 65: marijuana/hash, cocaine, amphetamines, ecstasy, heroin, performance enhancing agents and LSD.
It has been asked if people “have used” drugs. The people who said they had ever used drugs were then asked if they had also taken drugs for the last 30 days.
In the table, the data can be broken down to the next
characteristics:

— age class

Status of the figures: final.
Amendment as of 10 January 2017:
Table has been discontinued.
Amendment as of 15 June 2010:
The figures for 2009 have been added. The 2007 and 2008 figures on “Used drugs in the past 30 days” have improved due to a technical error in the programme.
