Persons with indication/use ZZV; basis, personal name., 2009-2014
Description
This table shows the number and proportion of persons who in the reporting year and the number and proportion of persons who have at the reference date an indication for AWBZ-funded care without residence and/or who have used AWBZ and/or WMO-funded care without residence in kind for which an own contribution has to be paid. The number of hours or parts of day care was also given in the year under review.
The figures are broken down by gender, age, basis, function and personal characteristics.

As of 1 January 2015, the General Act on Special Medical Expenses has been replaced by the Long-term Care Act (Wlz). Due to the policy changes and changes in the administration, it is not possible to continue the existing tables on indication and/or use of AWBZ care. Figures on Wlz as of 2015 will be published in new tables (see paragraph 3).
Changes as of 7 April 2015:
As announced by the CAK, additional data have been provided on the care provided in 2013 by the institutions participating in the Experimental Controlled Care Institutions (ERAI). This information was missing in the previous publication.
On 1 January 2013, the ‘Experiment Poverty Care Institutions’ (ERAI) started. These experiments affect the number of people in the tables. In the indication decision, some providers do not need to distinguish between the type of care; Personal Care, Nursing or Guidance. Indications provided by healthcare providers to these providers only include the Nursing function.
During the calendar year 2013, a number of municipalities no longer regularly supplied data on Household Care (HV) to the CAK. This not only leads to an under-reporting of the WMO function HV, but also has an impact on the totals (ZZV total, Total indication/use, total use ZZV and/or ZMV).
