Description

Labour force by professional status and sex by quarter - Years 2006-2013 (absolute values in thousands and percentage trends). The labour force includes employed and unemployed persons. Employed persons include persons aged 15 years and over; that during the reference week: (i) have worked at least one hour in any activityà which provides for monetary consideration or consideration in kind; have performed at least one hour of unpaid work in the firm of a family member in which they habitually work; iii) are absent from work (e.g. for holidays, sickness, Social Security). Jobseekers include those aged 15-74 who are not in employment and who: (i) have carried out at least one active job search action in the four weeks preceding the reference week and are available to work (or to start a jobà autonomous) within the following two weeks; ii) or, they will start a job within
