Description
This table deals with the Dutch population’s contacts with healthcare providers, about hospitalisations and medication use.
The following aspects are addressed:
— contacts with GP
— contacts with specialist
— contacts with dentist
— contacts with physiotherapist/exercise therapist
— contacts with alternative healer
— hospitalisations, with and without overnight stay
— medication use, both prescribed and non-prescribed
The data comes from the CBS Health Survey and can be broken down into various personal characteristics. The Health Survey is an ongoing survey of the Dutch population in private households.
