Description
This table is about the contacts of the Dutch population with healthcare providers, on hospitalisations and on drug use.
It addresses the following aspects:
— contacts with GP
— contacts with specialist
— contacts with dentist
— contacts with physiotherapist/practice therapist
— contacts with alternative healer
— hospitalisations, with and without overnight stay
— drug use, both prescribed and non-prescribed
The data comes from the CBS Health Survey and can be broken down by age and gender. The Health Survey is an ongoing survey of the Dutch population in private households.
