Risk map for Puumala-Hantavirus diseases 2023 (dataset)
Description
The puumalavirus forecast model models the occurrence of human PUUV infections based on data from 2006-2021. It covers 78 circles nationwide and can predict future human infection risk based on weather and phenology data. Outbreak risk is a newly defined binary size that predicts the annual local outbreaks. The predicted incidence levels (number of infections/100.000 inhabitants) and risk classes are derived from the outbreak risk and historical incidence levels.
