Description
Flat elements of the cultural-historical main structure for the province of Drenthe concerning selected stream valleys. The brook valleys as shown on the CHS often have to be seen in combination with the esvillains. Directly along the stream were the haylands and slightly higher the grasslands, important for keeping cattle. A number of stream valleys are sharply bounded with walls of wood within them until halfway through the brook valley and ditches across the stream.
