Description
The dataset ‘disappeared mills’ contains the landscaping mapping of lost mills according to the data of the Vereniging De Hollandsche Molen, recorded in milldatabase.org. Only the missing mills with a specified coordinate pair are included. It concerns not only the mills driven by water or wind, but also by tidal or muscle-powered mills. Of all mills, where known, they are indicated for what they were used for. Each mill is provided via the Ten Bruggencate number with a link to the relevant information page of the site https://allemolens.nl.
