This dataset presents the number of buildings with inhabited apartments by canton, category of buildings (single-family houses, multi-family houses, buildings with at least 3 apartments), type of heating (single oven heating, floor heating, central heating for one building, central heating for several buildings, no heating), energy carriers of heating, hot water supply, energy sources for hot water and construction period, 1970, 1980, 1990 and 2000.
