Belgian Resident Assessment Instrument: Screener

Description

The BelRAI Screener is a shortened tool that assesses the level of functioning of an adult in five areas: Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL), cognitive problems, psychological problems, and behavioral problems. Because not every person with care needs needs an extensive BelRAI assessment, the BelRAI Screener was developed. The Screener investigates for whom a full assessment is appropriate. The BelRAI Screener can be used on adults who receive professional home care.
