Thermal conductivity - WLF: Groundwater flow distance
Description
This application is intended to provide the builders, planners and drilling companies with geological, hydrogeological and geothermal data for the design and construction of geothermal probes. The following maps can only serve as an orientation, since the respective underlying drill grid does not allow reliable surface statements due to the complex geological storage conditions in large areas. The design of the required drilling depths must therefore always be based on the sequence of layers encountered during drilling. The information for the loose rocks comes from VDI 4640. For the solid rocks, the values were determined in the State Office for Geology and Mining.:In the drilling protocols documented groundwater levels below ground at the time of the respective drilling. Depending on the relief, there may be greater differences within the same geological unit, especially in the solid rocks. In valleys, the groundwater surface is rarely deeper than 10 m. Normally, the higher the mountain permeability, the more the surface area increases as the terrain rises.
