Building on slack ground - Sensitivity to setting
Description
This dataset shows the settlement sensitivity of the soil in North Holland. The set, together with three other datasets (reliability of TNO maps, thickness of holocene and bursting sheet pile wall) forms the information to determine the suitability of the subsurface for construction on slack ground and underground construction and is part of the research report "Suitability maps of the subsurface for construction in North Holland". All drillings available in and just outside North Holland in TNO's DINO database, as well as maps that can help limit soil and geological structures, were used to produce the file.
