Road Noise Lnight 2022 (EU Obligation)
Description
Digital nationwide database of the calculation result Lnight 2022 according to the EU Ambient Noise Directive (2002/49/EC, 34. BImSchV). The Lnight level was calculated using the calculation method for ambient noise from ground-level sources (BUB), which implements the CNOSSOS-EU calculation method across Europe into national law. These levels are calculated at a height of 4 m above ground and in a grid of 10 x 10 m.
The acoustic source is the relevant main road network with nocturnal traffic, which is also available under the name “Straßen_2022” on this map server. The display takes place in 5 dB classes according to legend.
The calculation results of the agglomerations of Hanover, Hildesheim, Braunschweig, Osnabrück, Oldenburg and Göttingen are not part of this data set.
