Wind energy; electricity production, capacity and wind supply, 2002-2019
Description
This table shows monthly, quarterly and annual figures on electricity production from wind energy, the capacity of wind turbines and an index of the amount of wind for electricity production. The data are broken down by onshore wind energy and offshore wind energy. The index for the amount of wind is only available for windmills on land.
Data available from 2002 to June 2019.
Status of the figures:
This table provides definitive figures up to and including 2017, further provisional figures for 2018 and provisional figures for 2019. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be finalised.
