Energy consumption of transport; energy carriers, 1955-2013 2nd quarter
Description
This table shows the consumption of energy by companies in the transport sector. The transport sector covers all companies providing transport of passengers and goods by rail, road, water and air. This table does not include transport on its own premises, fisheries, the use of agricultural machinery and mobile equipment. Energy consumption is broken down by energy carrier, such as petroleum products, natural gas and electricity.
Data available:
From 1955 per year and from 1999 per year and quarter to 2013 2nd quarter.
Status of the figures:
All figures up to the reporting year 2012 are final. Data for 2013 1st quarter and 2013 2nd quarter are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive.
