Description
Municipalities receive money from the Government from the municipal fund. By doing so, they pay part of their expenditure. On behalf of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK), CBS compiles figures against which these distribution models can be passed on. This table contains data which, inter alia, serve as a basis for determining the distribution of the national budget among the municipalities for the purposes of the general benefits, the Youth Act and the Participation Act.

Status of the figures:
The figures in this table are definitive but compiled on the basis of data from different sources and calculated on different base years. This means that the figures are not very similar to those already published on StatLine. This is explained in more detail in the explanatory memorandum relating to the topics.

New figures are published irregularly.
