WMO clients in 2019 using Wlz in 2020; age, gender and income
Description
This table shows the number and proportion of clients who have used care from the Social Support Act (WMO) and which in the reporting year (t) use care subject to contribution financed by the Long-Term Care Act (Wlz). These are clients who received a tailor-made Wmo package excluding Stay and Reception in the calendar year for the reporting year (t-1). Persons who receive partner residence or use Wlz care on the basis of one of the grant schemes will not be taken into account. These are only persons aged 18 and over who are registered in the Basic Registration of Personal Data (BRP) during the previous year (t-1). This table does not only cover the number of clients who received support exclusively from the Wmo in the previous year and who have entered the Wlz in the current year. The figures in the table also include people with a combination of Wmo and Wlz care in the previous year. In the case of concurrence of Wmo and Wlz care, the main issue is Wmo registrations for transport facilities. The number of clients flowing into the Wlz from Wmo in year (t) distinguishes between clients using Wlz in (t-1) and clients without using Wlz in (t-1).
The figures are available by municipality and can be broken down by gender, age category and household income.

Amendments as of 14 October 2022:
— In the subjects, the number of clients flowing from Wmo into the Wlz in year (t) distinguishes between, on the one hand, clients using Wlz in (t-1) and, on the other hand, clients without use of Wlz in (t-1).

Amendments as of 9 November 2021:
Table Explanatory Notes and Method Description have been modified as the table title has been modified. The original title (Clients Wmo at home year t-1; influx Wlz year t; region year t-1) led to incorrect interpretation of the figures. This table covers both clients who received support from the Wmo only in the previous year and those who received both Wmo support and Wlz care in the previous year. Of the total number of clients in the municipalities for which Wmo registrations are available, the proportion of clients who did not use Wlz care in the previous year is approximately 20 percent. This percentage may fluctuate between municipalities.
