Description
The so-called production statistics (PSs) are already in the present form
since the beginning of the 70's, they have been compiled and give an annual
picture of the ins and outs of the business community expressed in
financial Statements of Operations and Loss and Profits. This data
they are an important source of policy and practice in themselves.
The Netherlands, but they are also a source for (mandatory) deliveries to
Eurostat, the European Statistical Office. Finally, they become
intensively used in the composition of overarching statistical
overviews such as the National Accounts.
This publication contains figures on the number of companies and
employment, financial figures on revenues and burdens
industrial companies with 100 or more employees on the payroll. The
data are derived from the Production statistics of the energy and
water supply companies.
The number of companies published in this table relates to the number of companies published in this table.

companies working for at least 15 hours per week are

Associations and foundations are only considered as a company
if they are employed.
N.B.: The other variables (turnover etc.) relate to all
companies which, during the year under review, are wholly or partly economic
