Electricity balance; supply and consumption 1919-2018
Description
This table shows the supply and consumption of electricity in balance form. The calculation of the offer is as follows: production plus imports minus exports. This is equal to the amount of electricity consumed in the Netherlands during the same period.
In this table, consumption is broken down in more detail by the mode of delivery via the public or industrial networks and by consumption by the installations with which the electricity is produced.
The postal losses in distribution are also published separately for information purposes only. Losses in distribution are already included in the published consumption of the networks.
Data available from 1919 to 2018.
