Description

All trees managed by the Municipality of Eindhoven are part of this data collection.The administrative data that is displayed when you click on an object provides more information about the status (as an indication), tree type, size of the tree, etc. In the administrative dates of the tree, the ‘indicative status’ can be found, among other things. This indicative status is determined on the basis of the most up-to-date data, but the status of a tree may change due to circumstances. Checking the status of a tree is therefore always necessary. These are therefore all ‘other’ trees in the public space (owned by the municipality of Eindhoven). 'Municipal trees' in forests are usually not included. *Valuable tree* This is a municipal tree that meets at least the following requirements: - The tree has an age of at least 50 years, - The tree must not be in an irreparable condition. Also, all trees within the municipal green structure are valuable, regardless of their age size etc. The tree then provides at least an important added value for: Nature, Landscape, Cultural History, urban and village beauty, livability, water storage, heat stress, production, the intrinsic values of a tree. *Monumental tree* These are municipal trees, and sometimes also private trees, that meet the following requirements: - The tree has an age of at least 80 years, - The tree must not be in an irreparable condition, - Memorial trees are also monumental trees, regardless of their size age etc.; A commemorative tree, defined in the Trees Regulation 2024, is a tree in memory of a memorable event such as birth, marriage, death, anniversary, or commemoration (of, for example, a prince or princess), - Veterans trees are also monumental trees, regardless of their size, age, etc. Veterans trees, defined in the Trees Regulation 2024, are trees on public land with the potential to reach the veteran phase (connected to the age of the tree). The tree provides at least an important added value for: Nature, Landscape, Cultural History, urban and village beauty, livability, water storage, heat stress, production, the intrinsic values of a tree. **Oak processionary caterpillars** For oak, there are a number of attributes marked with the term "EPR" (EPR\_ANWEZIG, EPR\_ESTRICTION METHOD, EPR\_STADIUM, etc.). These attributes relate to the detection and subsequent control of the oak processionary caterpillars.
