Nuclear installations Preparation Areas
Description
The preparation zones shall indicate the areas in which protective measures have been prepared for the public, in the event of an accident involving a nuclear installation. Depending on the actual severity of an incident, the distances within which measures are imposed may be extended or reduced, or limited to part of the circle. For the nuclear installations in Belgium and Germany, similar distances have been determined in the National Crisiplan Radiation.
