International trade; imports and exports of services by country, quarter
Description
This table shows data on imports, exports and balance of services by companies and persons established in the Netherlands broken down by various types of services and countries (groups).
The types of services, which have been used by all EU countries since 2014, are based on the Balance of Payments Manual 6 (BPM6).

Status of figures:
As of 2020, a redesign of international trade in services statistics has taken place. In order to make time series and comparison possible, it has been decided to publish 2020 in both the new and the old way. 2020 in the old way appears in the 2014-2020 table and is modelled using response data and auxiliary data such as tax data. The first quarter of 2021 was temporarily added to the table in this way as well. Now that the new table, with 2020 and beyond, has been published, this quarter is no longer available in the model-based way.
As of 2017, the publication and revision policy of international trade in services has been revised.
The figures on Dutch international trade in services are available on a quarterly and annual basis. Preliminary quarterly figures are available one quarter after the end of the reporting period. With the publication of a new quarter, the figures of the previous quarter and, if applicable, the other previous quarters of the year in question are also adjusted on the basis of new source material (further provisional figures). At the moment that four quarters of a year are available, an annual calculation is made on the basis of these four quarterly figures. This annual calculation will become available in the autumn of the following year. The annual calculation is then adjusted the following year, this time definitively. The quarterly figures for the year in question will also be revised.
Changes as of 25 June 2024:
By mistake, the figures for 2022 have been definitively established. This has been adjusted with this delivery and the figures have been determined as further provisional. The figures for the 1st quarter to the 4th quarter 2023 have also been adjusted. The provisional figures for the first quarter of 2024 have also been added.
When will there be new figures?
The figures are available for the first time approximately 12 weeks after the end of the reporting period.
